How It Works

Booking a service for someone you care for takes just a few minutes. Here's what happens from the moment you book until the visit is done.

Booking in five steps

1

Choose where care happens

Pick Facility Services if your loved one is in a hospital or care facility, or Home Care Services if they're recovering at home.

2

Pick a time and a provider

Tell us when you'd like the service. We'll show providers who usually work then, along with what each service includes and its price.

3

Fill in the details

Enter the patient's information and your contact details, add a card, and confirm the date and time (at least 4 hours from now). Review everything, then submit your request.

4

The provider confirms

Your booking is a request until the provider accepts or declines it. We'll email you either way. If they decline, you aren't charged. If they haven't answered by 2 hours before the appointment, the request expires automatically, any hold on your card is released, nothing is charged, and we email you so you can book someone else.

5

The visit, then payment

After the visit the provider marks it complete. You have 48 hours to let us know if anything went wrong before your card is charged.

The stages of a booking

These are the statuses you'll see on your booking, and what each one means for your card.

Booking stages A booking starts as Requested, becomes Accepted when the provider agrees, Completed after the visit, and Paid once the 48-hour review window ends. A provider can decline a request, you can cancel before the visit, and you can report a problem after the visit, which puts the booking under review. Requested Card saved, no charge Accepted Hold before the visit Completed 48-hour review Paid Card charged Provider accepts Visit takes place No problem reported Declined No charge Cancelled No charge Under review We'll be in touch Provider declines You cancel before the visit You report a problem within 48 hours Our team resolves it with you
  1. Requested — your card is saved, not charged.
  2. Accepted — the provider said yes; a hold is placed before the visit.
  3. Completed — the visit happened; you have 48 hours to report a problem.
  4. Paid — your card is charged and you're all done.

Other ways a booking can end:

  • Declined — the provider can't make it. No charge.
  • Expired — the provider didn't answer in time. No charge.
  • Cancelled — you cancelled before the visit. No charge.
  • Not confirmed — the provider didn't confirm the visit within 7 days. We release the hold; no charge.
  • Under review — you reported a problem; our team will work it out with you.
When is my card charged?
  • Not when you book. We securely save your card; we never see or store the full card number.
  • About 48 hours before the visit we place a temporary hold for the price you saw at booking. If the visit is sooner than that, the hold is placed right away.
  • If the hold doesn't go through, we'll email you a link to update your card.
  • You're only charged after the visit, once the provider marks it complete and your 48-hour review window has passed. If the provider doesn't confirm the service within 7 days, we release the hold and you're not charged.
  • If the provider declines or you cancel, the hold is released and you pay nothing.
Do I need an account?

No. You can check out as a guest. If you'd like to follow your bookings online, choose Create an account — with a password, or with your Google or Microsoft sign-in — on the last step of booking (or right after, on the confirmation page), and you can sign in later to:

  • See all your bookings and their status
  • Cancel a booking before the visit
  • Update your card or report a problem
  • Book again faster with saved patients and cards
